Deputy Solicitor General – Civil Appeals | Santa Fe

The New Mexico Department of Justice is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Deputy Solicitor General for Civil Appeals. The Deputy Solicitor General will be responsible for managing the Civil Appeals Division of the New Mexico Department of Justice (NMDOJ). Special Agent Law Enforcement - Medicaid Fraud | Albuquerque

Posting Details

The Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU) within the New Mexico Department of Justice is responsible for the investigation and litigation/prosecution of Medicaid fraud by healthcare providers. This Unit employs a multi-disciplinary team of professional disciplines to pursue civil recoveries and/or criminal prosecutions under the Medicaid Fraud Act, as well as litigates qui tam actions under the Medicaid False Claims Act and/or Fraud Against Taxpayers Act. Additionally, the MFCU investigates and prosecutes violations of the state’s Resident Abuse and Neglect Act, which includes allegations of physical abuse, neglect and/or financial exploitation of our communities elderly and otherwise vulnerable populations.

Interviews are anticipated to be conducted within two weeks of closing date.

Why does the job exist?

A Special Agent conducts complex and advanced investigations into violations of law related to Medicaid fraud and the abuse, neglect or financial exploitation of residents in care facilities within New Mexico. The Special Agent works in coordination with auditors, medical professionals, information specialists and attorneys in order to investigate and pursue civil remedies and/or criminal prosecution from wrongdoers.

Paralegal - IPRA | Albuquerque
