Contact: James Hallinan (505) 660-2216

Albuquerque, NM – This morning, Attorney General Hector Balderas congratulated New Mexico law enforcement on successful Movember results. Aside from some amazing mustaches, the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General Movember team came in third place for funds raised out of 11 teams in the New Mexico Public Safety Network. Total funds raised by the network was $5487.00 which will help raise awareness of critical men’s health issues such as testicular cancer, prostate cancer and suicide prevention. On December 1, 2016, there was an awards ceremony for the New Mexico Public Safety Network held at Bubba’s 33 in Albuquerque.

“I want to thank and congratulate all New Mexico law enforcement team members who participated in this year’s Movember and everyone who donated to this cause,” said Attorney General Balderas. “These women and men put their lives on the line to protect New Mexico families every day, but yet still find time to give even more back to their communities which is selfless and honorable.”
